Photos and video about Sestri levante: a complete source of information for nautical tourists
Sestri Levante is one of the typical villages of the Ligurian Riviera, situated at the end of the Tigullio Gulf, between Portofino and the Gulf of the Five Lands. Today, Sestri Levante is one of the most appreciated tourist resorts due to its extremely mild climate and its picturesque landscapes. In fact, originally it was a fishing village; it is on a small peninsular that divides the gulf onto which it overlooks – the Tigullio Gulf- into two truly suggestive bays: The Bay of Silence and the Bay of Fairy Tales. These, especially during the summer, offer anchorage points and buoys for leisure boats. Between the two bays and the isthmus there is the historical city centre, whilst the more modern part occupies the plane that stretches between the sea and the hinterland hills.
